These prints convey connection to earth, water, and air in my choice of forms relating primarily to the landscape of costal Sweden where I lived for 14 years. My life near the Swedish sea and travel to other coastal countries has informed the imagery, texture and feelings – I have made marks, used threads and fabrics to etch, emboss and collage in the paper to connect to the weather, seaside plant life, grasses, seaweeds and tidal beaches.

Exposure to the geology and geography of time and landscape heighten my responses to the magic of observation in a view that excites, heals and leads to contemplation. My thoughts, my breath, my whole being, move with the ebb and flow of place.
